CEO & Founder

As the founder and CEO of Marketing Melodies and storePlay, Dean's passion for music is evident from an accomplished career as a DJ and entrepreneur.

From humble beginnings creating mix tapes for retailers in the 90s, Dean has grown Marketing Melodies to become one of the largest background music suppliers in Australia, providing music for more than 5,000 stores.

Dean's tenacious nature and intrinsic love of innovation led him to develop storePlay, the first app-based background music platform for business in 2012.

Dean is an active member of the global technology community and a trailblazer in the background music industry.



Sasha has been our head of curation for more than four years and brings with him a wealth of music knowledge.

A music fanatic in every sense of the word, Sasha has forged a 20-year career in the music industry across a varied range of roles.

Prior to working at storePlay Sasha was based in London working as a music and entertainment content specialist for 10 years.

Sasha's passion for music is palpable and clients enjoy working with him to create their bespoke playlists.


Client Relations

Mitch comes from a music and business background, having worked as a management consultant and a music account manager after being a touring DJ/producer for over 10 years.

Starting his career out as a radio show host, Mitch gained a lot of experience in selecting music, before becoming a dedicated music manager, curating playlists and talent for retailers, restaurants, bars and cafes.

With a background in Psychology and Commerce, Mitch is adept at understanding clients’ needs and providing outcome based solutions.


Customer Service

Irish has over 10 years customer service experience in the Telco and financial service industries.

Beginning her career at AT&T US and Optus Australia, Irish has managed all areas of client interaction from customer enquiries to social media management.

Beyond her Bachelor of Science and Diploma in Marketing, Irish has proven experience in meeting clients' needs and delivering high quality support.
